On factory wheels, Mercedes uses an R14 ball seat (28 mm sphere). The original length depends on the wheel: 27-28 mm on most, 44-45 mm on some E-Class and S-Class wheels. Aftermarket wheels may need a different seat, and a seat with the wrong radius only touches the wheel on a thin ring and can work loose. The bolts in this kit are sized for an original 27-28 mm bolt.
