Ignition coils
Coils individually and as complete sets, chosen by engine. On a tuned one, spark energy counts: at high cylinder pressure the standard coil can no longer light the mixture. You get a misfire under load, exactly when you need the power.
Master switch and emergency cut off
The master switch cuts the current from the battery and has to be reachable from outside. There are FIA homologated and non-FIA versions, with 2 or 6 poles. The 6 pole ones also stop the alternator, so the engine cannot keep itself running after the cut. Check the regulations for which type is required.
Cables and rain light
The pull cables for the master switch and the extinguisher are chosen by length, following where the control sits in the cabin. A rain light is mandatory in most circuit competitions.
