Suits for track days, karting and paddock work. Most trackday organisers ask for a suit, but not necessarily a homologated one, so check the event regulations before ordering. The cut is Italian and runs smaller than European sizing.

With or without homologation

The Sparco Rookie karting suit is on the CIK-FIA standard, so it covers competitive karting too. The rest are suits without homologation, enough where the organiser does not ask for one.

Trackday or paddock

Mechanic style suits are made for work in the paddock: pockets, a loose cut, material that stands up to oil. Trackday ones sit closer to the body and are more comfortable in the seat.

The size

The size is taken over fireproof underwear, not over a t-shirt: the layer underneath takes up room. If you are between two numbers, take the larger one.
