GPS frequency
The 25 Hz models take twenty five positions a second, so the trace comes out smooth and the comparison between laps is believable. Below that frequency, the corners get rounded off and small differences are lost.
Lap timer or data logger
The simple versions give you lap and sector times. The PRO and Solo 2 DL also log data from the car, which lets you compare braking, revs and acceleration, not just the result.
