Corner Weight Scales

Corner weight scales show how many kilograms press on each corner and how the weight sits across the diagonal. It is the only way to balance a car that turns differently to the left than to the right. You weigh on a flat surface, with the driver in the seat and the fuel at the level it runs at.

The surface has to be flat

Without that, the numbers mean nothing. Levelling trays and extension kits exist exactly to correct a floor that is not perfectly true. Ramps hold the car at the same height as the scales while you drive onto them.

How you weigh

With the driver in the seat, the fuel at the level it runs at and the car let settle after rolling it back and forth. Anything else gives you a number that does not repeat at the next measurement.
