What Appendix L requires
- Appendix L, Chapter III Art. 2, requires drivers and co-drivers to wear overalls, gloves (optional for co-drivers), long underwear, a balaclava, socks and shoes approved to FIA 8856-2000 or 8856-2018
- FIA approved personal underwear, such as boxer shorts, is worn in addition, between the skin and the compulsory long underwear, not instead of it
