Flush or external
The flush ones, of the AeroCatch type, fit with a cutout in the bonnet and stay level with the surface, so they do not catch the air. The external ones clamp over it and are reversible, which matters on a car that is not purely for track.
Anti vibration pegs
Adjustable pegs between 110 and 170 mm hold the bonnet down on its stops, so it does not vibrate or knock on the move. They go on together with the pins, not instead of them.
What to check
The pins mount into the structure of the bonnet, not just into the outer skin, and they have to be reachable without tools. After fitting, check twice that they close fully, on each pin separately.
