The RRS Racing bucket seat has a rigid ribbed shell and is not FIA approved. It comes with mounting brackets and a universal slider, for circuit outings and recce runs.

Intended use

  • Circuit outings, recce runs and sim racing.
  • The seat also suits tall or heavily built drivers.
  • It is for cars that are not subject to FIA regulations. For the rest, FIA approved seats are in the sport seats collection.

Parts needed for installation

  • The universal slider is not made for a specific car and is fixed with 4 bolts, which are not included. Prepare the four holes in the chassis.
  • Before ordering, measure the distance between the original anchor points of the car and the free height under the seat. Depending on the car, a bracket or intermediate supports may be needed, from the universal seat mounts collection.

Manufacturer's notes

  • The honeycomb-pattern fabric holds the body well and breathes well.
  • The shell has slots for the harness at the shoulders, the hips and between the legs, so it takes a harness of up to six points.
  • The universal RRS seat cover protects the upholstery at the points of friction when getting in and out.
