The adaptor plate
The plate joins the engine block to the gearbox housing, for instance from an N54, N55 or S55 to an 8HP70. It is chosen for the exact engine and gearbox combination; there is no universal version.
The adaptor cables
The cables connect the MaxxECU to the gearbox and to the original selector, for each gearbox code separately, such as the GS7D36SG on the M3 and M4 DCT. Without them, the gearbox receives no commands and stays in limp mode.
The sump
The aluminium sump replaces the plastic gearbox pan and takes temperature and knocks from under the car better. On a track car with an 8HP, it is an addition that pays for itself.
