Manifold flange: PRB or RBC
The intake manifold and throttle body are chosen by the cylinder head. On the K20A, K20A2, K20Z1 and K24A1 the flange is PRB style, while on the K20Z3, K24A2, K24A4 and K24A8 it is RBC style. The gaskets differ the same way, and adapters exist for a throttle body fitted to the other flange.
K20 or K24
The K20 has an 86 mm stroke, the K24 99 mm, on a taller block. That is why the connecting rods and pistons are different. For camshafts the engine code and VTEC type matter, both written in the title of each set.
K20C1, the turbo engine
The Civic Type R FK2, FK8 and FL5 use the K20C1, turbocharged. Its camshafts, connecting rods, head gasket and water pump differ from the K20A, so only parts that name it apply.
K-swap into older Civic and Integra
For the Civic 1988-2000, CRX, CRX del Sol and Integra 1990-2001 you will find the engine mounts, adapter harnesses, power steering kit, air conditioning lines, radiators and exhaust manifold made for the K engine.
