The 240Z, 260Z and 280Z, built between 1969 and 1978, have independent suspension on all four wheels, with a strut at the rear as well. For a car of that period it was unusual: most rivals had a live rear axle. That is why people still race them.

What we stock

AST Rollcages structures, ARP rod bolts, Goodridge brake hose kits and Silver-Project arms. These are parts for cars that actually race, not for display.

The rod bolt, on an old engine being revved

The rod bolt gives up first when you raise the revs and it takes the engine with it. It is tightened on stretch, measured with a dial gauge, not on torque: a wrench measures friction, not the tension in the bolt. The ARP figures are given with their own lubricant.

How to search

Parts are chosen by generation and by the dimensions measured on the car, not from a data sheet. On a fifty year old car, what the catalogue says and what is actually fitted do not always agree.
