The engine mount bush, the classic case
On the Fiesta ST and the Focus ST, the rear engine mount gives up first and lets the powertrain move under acceleration. It feels like a delay in the response and like a jolt on every gearchange. It is the most asked for polyurethane replacement on these models, and one of the few that changes how the car feels without touching the power.
The generations people mix up
The Focus Mk2 and Mk3 look close but have different axles, and the Fiesta Mk7 was built in two phases whose parts do not fully overlap. On the Mustang, the difference between the live axle generation and the independent rear changes the suspension parts list completely. Filter by generation, not by year, and if you have the OEM code, search straight on it.
