Live axles, and what a lift asks for

On the older models with live axles, a lift moves the caster angle and leaves the axle offset sideways. It is corrected with adjustable arms and an adjustable Panhard rod. A spring kit on its own is not enough.

The modern models

Recent Discovery and Range Rover models have independent suspension and often air springs. None of the logic above applies there, and the spring set has to be made for your suspension version.

The cars are heavy

Braking is the limit, not power. The disc and the pad are chosen on working temperature and on load, not on diameter.
