Look under Opel too
Not everything from the Vectra C fits a 9-3, but the overlap is real. Check the selector, and when a position does not appear under Saab, try it under Opel before you give up.
The turbo engines, and what they ask for
Saab built turbocharged engines when almost nobody else did in that class. On one tuned further, the downpipe and the braking are the first two jobs. Without a catalyst the car is no longer legal on public roads, and after fitting it needs a remap.
Bearings, on a high mileage engine
On a rebuild, the grade is chosen against the measured crankshaft, not from a catalogue. Bi-metal takes short loads, tri-metal takes long ones, that is circuit.
