The rear anti-roll bar, the change that pays best
On the Impreza and the WRX, the cheapest way out of understeer is a thicker rear anti-roll bar with several mounting holes. It ties the rear axle together more firmly, so the car turns in more easily. It is set on the holes, so you can try settings without changing the part.
BRZ, GT86 and the generation differences
The BRZ is the same car as the Toyota GT86, so the parts are shared: check Toyota as well. On the Impreza, watch the generation: GC, GD, GR and VA have different axles and mounting points, and on the STI the brakes differ too. The generation code is the safest starting point.
