When you are at the noise limit at a circuit, when you have to drive through a residential area in the morning, or when resonance on the motorway becomes tiring. It is the cheapest answer before you start changing the system.
The size
The diameter is taken on the inside of your tip, not the outside. The silencer is held by the bolt supplied, otherwise you lose it on track at the first serious acceleration.
