What you should know
- It goes on by gripping the tabs with the pliers, which opens the clamp, then releasing it over the hose. Without the pliers it is awkward work.
- There is no adjustment: each size covers its own range, so pick the diameter more carefully than with a screw clamp.
- It holds well on small coolant, vacuum and fuel hose, where a screw clamp cuts into the rubber.
