The Longacre 52-79620 toe gauge measures wheel toe as the difference between the front and the rear of the tyres. It is accurate to 1/16 inch, or 1.6 mm. One person can do the whole job.

How to measure
- with the wheels raised, scribe a line on each tyre sidewall that the wheel traces as it turns
- place the gauge in front of the wheels, with the pointers on the two lines
- then move it behind the wheels: fixed end on one line, loosen the slider and bring it onto the other
- the difference reads straight off the scale, without working it out from two tape measurements
Not included
- the tyre scribe does not come with the gauge; Longacre sells it separately
- the gauge measures toe only; camber and caster are measured with the Longacre magnetic gauge
