The A110 has an aluminium platform, a mid mounted engine and weighs around eleven hundred kilograms. At that mass, suspension is chosen differently: springs from an ordinary car are far too stiff, and the car loses grip before it gains anything in roll.

The balance changes quickly

With the mass concentrated in the middle, the car changes direction very easily, but it also reacts more sharply when you lift off in a corner. That is why adjustments are made in small steps and written down. A big change of setting is felt far more than on an ordinary car.

Braking

The car is light, so big discs do not help. What counts is the pad compound and the temperature it works at. We stock Pagid pads and Goodridge hose kits.

Engine parts

Wossner pistons for anyone going further with the engine. The bore clearance on a forged piston is larger than on the original and it is given on the data sheet.
