Phase and Cup, two different cars

On the Clio and the Megane RS, the Cup versions have different spring rates, different anti-roll bars and sometimes a different front axle from the standard cars. The engine code and the phase of the model matter more for fitment than the year of manufacture. If you are not sure, send us the generation code and we will check.

The rear axle on the small models

The Clio and the Twingo use a torsion bar rear axle, and its bushes are one of the most common causes of unpredictable behaviour on high mileage cars. When they give up, the axle rotates against the body and the rear toe wanders in a corner. They are changed with the car on the ramp and they need a press.
