The Octavia 2 is built on PQ35, and the Octavia 3 and 4 on MQB. On MQB the rear axle follows power: under 110 kW with front wheel drive means a torsion beam, above it means multilink. Check which one your car has before ordering arms or bushes.

The platform decides the fit

The Octavia 5E sits on MQB, like the Golf 7, the Leon 5F and the A3 8V; the Fabia shares its base with the Polo and the Ibiza. In practice most suspension and braking parts are the same. If you cannot find the code under Skoda, look at Volkswagen, Audi or Seat too.

Check the rear axle

Within the same Octavia generation there is both a torsion beam version and a multilink one, depending on the engine and the drive. The rear bushes and arms differ between them, and a part ordered wrongly cannot be adapted. Look under the car: a single beam across means torsion beam, several separate arms on each side means multilink.
