Stiffer, for MacPherson strut cars
The RM Series uses an inverted monotube damper on cars with MacPherson strut suspension. The inverted build carries most of the mass at the top and cuts unsprung weight, while the thick shaft takes side loads better, for longer, without tiring.
The result is stiffer and more precise than BR, with the same ride height and damping adjustment.
Construction
- Inverted monotube damper, front and rear on MacPherson strut cars.
- On cars with struts only at the front, RM gives an inverted strut at the front and a BR damper at the rear.
- Ride height on the threaded body. Rebuildable.
Adjustment
- 30 way damping from a single knob, compression and rebound together.
- Front camber plates as standard where the car allows them, rear available.
- Custom or Swift springs to order.
What it gives you

Where it stops
- The inverted build only pays off on MacPherson struts, not on double wishbone suspension.
