Octanium Unleaded is the VP Racing additive that raises the octane rating of unleaded petrol by up to 7 numbers. One 946 ml bottle treats 38 litres. It can also be used on engines with a catalytic converter and oxygen sensor, at a reduced dose.

Good to know
- The full dose, 946 ml per 38 l, is accepted by VP only for short term use and on engines without a catalytic converter. Used often, it calls for more frequent maintenance so deposits do not build up on engine parts.
- Keep it away from light and frost. It may discolour light coloured plastic tanks and cans, and it must not reach paintwork.
- It is toxic and highly flammable: pour it with the engine off, away from any source of ignition.
- Classic Octanium (code 2855) goes up to 8 numbers, but VP makes it for off-road vehicles. Unleaded is the version that is safe with catalytic converters and oxygen sensors.
