The AN6 cap blanks off a male AN6 fitting that stays unused: a weld-on fitting or an AN6 union. It screws on and seals on the fitting's 37 degree flare.

Application
- On fuel, vacuum and boost lines, at an AN6 end you are not using.
- For an AN10 fitting there is a separate cap, with a 7/8-14 UNF thread.
Fitting
- It seals on the fitting's 37 degree flare, not on the thread.
- It fits AN fittings only, not SAE fittings, which have a 45 degree flare.
