Skunk2 Pro XP valve springs keep the valves under control on Honda K20, K24, F20C and F22C engines, with no valve float above 11,000 rpm. XP means extra seat pressure, for turbocharged and very high rpm engines, while keeping the coil bind height for high-lift camshafts.

What to check
- Dual springs wound from Japanese chrome-silicon wire: the inner and outer springs are mated with a slight interference fit and have different frequencies, so they do not resonate together.
- The wire is 100% eddy-current inspected before coiling, then the springs are heat treated, shot peened, chemically polished and nitrided.
- On single-spring K-series heads and on F20C / F22C engines they fit only with the Skunk2 312-05-0010 spring bases.
- On 2004 and newer engines, Skunk2 titanium retainers need pre-2004 keepers (no laser-etched marks on the top edge): the angle differs, and the wrong combination can damage the engine.
