Exhaust Flex Pipe 60 mm x 100 mm Stainless 201

Stainless steel 201 exhaust flex pipe with a 60 mm inside diameter and a length of 100 mm. It takes up engine vibration and movement on the mounts, so the load does not reach the manifold, the downpipe or the exhaust hangers.

How it is fitted

• It goes as close to the engine as possible, where the system moves the most: after the manifold on naturally aspirated engines, after the turbo on turbo ones.
• It has no place between the manifold and the turbo.
• Both ends must line up with the pipes. A flex pipe is not meant to join two pipes that do not meet, and it is not welded in stretched or compressed.
• 201 stainless has less nickel (3.5-5.5%) than 304. For a car that sees a lot of moisture there is also a 304 stainless version.
