AeroCatch Flush Below Panel Non-Locking Bonnet Pins (pair)

AeroCatch holds a bonnet, boot or tailgate with a handle recessed into the latch body, released by a secondary safety button. The 125 Flush series fits from below the panel, and the body is glass reinforced thermoplastic.

What to check before you cut

• Below 2.5 mm the latch needs packing out to sit flush.
• The strike must enter the latch at a right angle; 5 degrees of misalignment is the stated tolerance.
• Side mounting works as well as top mounting, so a panel can be slid onto the strike instead of dropped onto it.
• On a hinged panel a small piece is cut from the underside of the latch so it can swing over the strike.
• The load sits on the rubber bump stops. Set the strike so the panel needs a little pressure to close.
• The underside of the handle is marked for an optional sight window you can drill out to see the shear pin engage.
• Fitting means cutting the panel, and that cut stays.
