Tegiwa Super Rear Boot Floor Subframe Reinforcement Kit for the BMW M3 E46

On the E46, as on the E36, the rear subframe mounting points can tear out of the sheet metal, because the differential feeds engine torque through the subframe into the shell. BMW added a cross member on the front mounts, and the load moved to the left rear mount, where it fails even on low mileage street cars. The Super version uses 2.5 mm thick plates on the boot floor to fix the problem once and for all.
