Where it is used
- Motul recommends the Competition series for rally, GT and rebuilt historic engines, where wear protection and an oil pressure that does not drop matter. It copes with medium oil dilution from unburned fuel.
- Types of use listed by Motul: circuit, drag race, drift, endurance, GT, hill climb, historic racing, rally, rallycross and track days.
- Fuel: petrol, diesel and biofuels, including ethanol up to E85.
Before the oil change
- Motul asks for it not to be mixed with other oils, synthetic or mineral.
- The drain interval is set by the engine builder. Motul gives no figure in kilometres or hours.
- The values in the table are typical figures published by Motul, not specification limits.
