Where it is used
- Motul recommends the Le Mans series for endurance, drift and rebuilt historic engines, where oil pressure has to stay stable. It copes with high oil dilution from unburned fuel and with engines built with large clearances.
- Types of use listed by Motul: circuit, drag race, drift, endurance, GT, hill climb, historic racing, rally, rallycross and track days.
- Fuel: petrol, diesel and biofuels, including ethanol up to E85.
Before the oil change
- Motul asks for it not to be mixed with other oils, synthetic or mineral.
- The drain interval is set by the engine builder. Motul gives no figure in kilometres or hours.
- The values in the table are typical figures published by Motul, not specification limits.
