Buying guide and details
Polyurethane bushings for suspension, subframe and engine, from Powerflex and Strongflex. You choose them by mounting point. A full subframe kit works out cheaper than buying the bushings one at a time. Polyurethane needs grease on assembly or it squeaks, and the manufacturer supplies its own with the bushings that take it.
By mounting position
- anti-roll bar bushings
- subframe and differential bushings
- damper and spring bushings
- steering rack bushings
What changes after fitting
A tired rubber bushing lets the arm move under load. The geometry then walks away from you in a corner and under hard braking. With polyurethane the angles stay close to where you set them: the steering answers earlier, the car settles more predictably and the tyres wear evenly. In exchange, more road noise reaches the cabin, in proportion to the hardness you picked.
Which car
Filter by make, model and generation. There are brand pages too: BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, Ford, Toyota, if you would rather see only what fits you. Where the same model ran two arm designs within one generation, the fitting diagram on the product page separates them clearly. Check it before you order.
