Buying guide and details
The i30 N was the first car from the N division, and with the Performance pack it comes with an active front differential. That changes what is worth doing to the suspension: with traction already sorted on corner exit, the next gain comes from bushes and from the anti-roll bar, not from stiffer springs.
The N division
The i20 N, the i30 N and the Veloster N were designed for track from the start, not versions with body kits. Their brakes and cooling are sized differently from the rest of the range. Parts from an ordinary i30 do not move onto an i30 N, or the other way round.
Genesis Coupe, the rear drive chapter
Between 2008 and 2016, Hyundai sold a rear drive coupe with the engine at the front. It is a completely different car from the rest of the range, with a different axle construction. Look for parts strictly under it.
The rest of the range
On the i20, the i30 and the Tucson the generation is what counts. The rear axle differs between versions: some have a torsion beam, others independent arms. You cannot tell from the name. Check the selector before ordering arms or bushes.
