The RPC flywheel is machined from a single piece of 4140 chromoly steel and weighs 3.2 kg, for the K20 engine with the 6-speed gearbox. Lower inertia lets the engine rev up and down more quickly.

What to check

  • The ring gear teeth are machined into the flywheel. On aluminium flywheels the ring gear is pressed on and can separate.
  • The design lets air flow towards the clutch to help it cool.
  • Works with Exedy, ACT, Fidanza, Clutchmasters and OEM clutch kits.
  • After fitting, RPC calls for a 500 mile (about 800 km) break-in period.
