The Skunk2 Alpha header for Honda B-series engines, VTEC and non-VTEC, follows the design of the MegaPower race headers. The equal-length, stepped primaries are sequentially paired in a 4-2-1 tri-Y layout with a 63.5 mm (2.5 inch) collector. Their small diameter keeps the exhaust gas fast, so the engine responds better and gains mid-range power.

Which cars it fits

  • Honda B-series Engines (VTEC and non-VTEC)

What to check

  • It eliminates the catalytic converter: a competition part, and the car is no longer road legal.
  • It does not fit the OEM catalytic converter without modification; with a standard cat-back it needs a custom-length test pipe.
  • It is not compatible with the Type R transmission stiffener: modify it or swap to the GSR stiffener.
