Hand held 2 kg fire extinguisher with ABC dry powder, steel body and a pressure gauge on the head. The bracket and the mounting straps come with it, so there is no separate mounting kit to source.

What ABC powder puts out
- Class A: solid materials that form embers, wood, textiles, paper.
- Class B: flammable liquids and liquefiable solids, petrol, oil, solvents.
- Class C: flammable gases.
Who it suits
- Rally and circuit cars, where the regulations ask for a hand held extinguisher within the driver's reach.
- Garage, workshop, camper or road car.
- The cylinder is rechargeable, so one discharge does not end its life.
- It does not replace a plumbed in system homologated to FIA 8865 where the regulations call for one.
Fitting and regulations
- Bolt the bracket to the floor or the transmission tunnel, through the panel, with backing plates. Fixed to the carpet only, it will not hold 25G.
- How many extinguishers an event asks for, and where they go in the car, is in Appendix J or in the national regulations. Read it before ordering.
- Check the gauge from time to time: the needle belongs in the green band.
