The RRS Cobra is a compact bucket seat for narrow cockpits, approved to FIA 8855-1999, trimmed in faux leather (skai), which is easier to clean. The glass fibre shell is made by RTM moulding.

Who it suits
- Cars with a narrow cockpit, for drivers over 1.80 m and 75 kg
- RTM means resin injected into a closed mould: RRS quotes a shell 30% lighter than a standard seat
- It replaces the Futura 2 and needs different side mount settings: old mounts do not automatically fit
- Side mounts are sold separately
