The RRS EVO Monte Carlo is an FIA 8856-2018 approved race suit made of three layers of Nomex. It has no waist belt, to save weight, and comes from the RRS partnership with rally driver Bryan Bouffier.

Who it suits
- Motorsport events where the rules require an FIA 8856-2018 approved suit
- The suit is one part of the kit: underwear, balaclava, socks, gloves and boots must also be FIA 8856-2018 approved
Label and validity
- The FIA label shows the standard, the manufacturer, the homologation number and the last year of validity
- FIA 8856-2018 equipment is valid for 10 years after the year of manufacture. Check the year on the label before every season
- Appendix L of the International Sporting Code requires FIA 8856-2018 approval for the suit, gloves, long underwear, balaclava, socks and boots
- Nomex is a DuPont aramid fibre: its heat and flame resistance comes from the structure of the fibre, not from a treatment, and lasts for the life of the suit
