BC Racing V1 Series
Monotube, 44 mm piston in a 50 mm body
The V1 Series is the entry kit in the BC range, made mainly for track days and fast road driving.
We are an authorised BC Racing importer. Look up your car in the selector on the site or write to us, and we will tell you which kit exists for it.
Construction and adjustment
- Monotube damper.
- 30 clicks of damping adjustment.
- Ride height adjustment independent of spring preload.
- Bearing mounted upper spring platform.
- Custom spring rates available.
Kit types
The part code ends with the kit type, for example C-12-V1-VA. The type says which top mounts come in the kit.
VA
Front: aluminium top mounts with pillowball centres, camber adjustable where the car allows it. Rear: aluminium top mounts with rubber centres, or no top mounts.
VS
Front: aluminium top mounts with rubber centres, not camber adjustable. Rear: aluminium top mounts with rubber centres, or no top mounts.
VN
Front: no top mounts. Rear: aluminium top mounts with rubber centres, or no top mounts.
VH
Front: aluminium pillowball top mounts, camber adjustable where the car allows it. Rear: pillowball only, or no top mounts.
V1 compared with the other series
- BR: the same four top mount types, with a 46 mm piston in a 53 mm body instead of 44 mm in 50 mm.
