The DTS Line SX coilover kit replaces the factory suspension, front and rear, on the VW Passat B6 and B7 Variant, Cross Touran, Skoda Superb 2 4x4. Ride height is adjusted on the threaded body, to the millimetre, even with the suspension installed. Damping is not adjustable.
It belongs to the DTS Street Performance range, developed in Germany for each car individually, and fits the original mounting points without modifying them.

Compatibility
- Skoda Superb 4x4 (3T), including Combi, from 06/2008: lowering front 30-60 mm, rear 30-60 mm; permissible axle load up to 1200 kg front and 1250 kg rear.
- Volkswagen Passat B6 and B7 Variant (3C), front-wheel drive and 4motion, from 08/2005: lowering front 35-70 mm, rear 35-70 mm; permissible axle load up to 1180 kg front and 1230 kg rear.
- Volkswagen Passat R36 Variant (B6, 3C) 4motion, from 04/2007: lowering front 35-70 mm, rear 35-70 mm; permissible axle load up to 1180 kg front and 1230 kg rear.
- Volkswagen Cross Touran (1T), from 11/2006: lowering front 35-70 mm, rear 35-70 mm; permissible axle load up to 1200 kg front and 1160 kg rear. Not for cars with electronically controlled dampers.
- Skoda Superb 4x4 (3T), Volkswagen Passat B6 and B7 Variant (3C) and Volkswagen Passat R36 Variant (B6, 3C) 4motion: only for cars where the front strut is clamped in the steering knuckle on a 55 mm diameter.
- On cars with electronically controlled dampers (DCC), the system must be deactivated.
Fitting notes, per the DTS installation instructions
- Installation by trained personnel only, with the proper tools.
- The spring seat locking screw is tightened to 1-2 Nm, no more.
- After installation, with the car on its wheels on level ground, the height is measured and corrected within the lowering range. When setting it, allow for the car settling by a further 5-10 mm in use.
- At least 5 mm must remain between tyre and suspension over the full wheel travel.
- Wheel alignment is set to the car maker's values; when a large height change makes a value unreachable, it is set as close as possible to the maker's tolerance range.
- Height-dependent components, such as headlight range control and the brake force regulator, are adjusted to the car maker's instructions.
- On cars with ESP, DSC or EPC a fault entry and a warning lamp may appear; on some models it goes out after about 5 km of driving, and on current models the basic setting of the ESP and of the steering angle may have to be done with the car maker's diagnostic tester.
