Quaife ATB Limited Slip Differential VW Golf 4 including R32, Audi A3 and TT, Seat Leon, Skoda Octavia, 02M Gearbox 2WD and 4WD
The Quaife QDF13R and QDF14R are ATB limited slip differentials (LSDs) for the VAG 02M 6-speed gearbox, found on the Golf 4, Bora, Audi A3, S3 and TT, Seat Leon and Skoda Octavia. The QDF13R fits the front-wheel drive versions (2WD) and the QDF14R the all-wheel drive versions (4Motion, quattro, 4x4), in the front axle. The helical gear set sends torque to the wheel that has grip, with no friction discs.

Operation, according to Quaife
- It greatly reduces unwanted understeer, oversteer and torque steer.
- It acts progressively and is silent in operation.
- It works with ABS, traction control and stability control.
- It has no wearing parts and uses standard transmission oil, and the car's service schedule stays the same.
- It reduces tyre wear, especially on front-wheel drive cars.
- On the front-wheel drive versions, Quaife also states improved braking.

- VW Golf 4 (1J) and Bora: QDF13R on the front-wheel drive versions, QDF14R on 4Motion, including the Golf 4 R32
- Audi A3 (8L): QDF13R with front-wheel drive, QDF14R on quattro; Audi S3 (8L): QDF14R

Fitting and warranty
- It fits in place of the original differential, in the front axle.
- The differential is supplied without bearings and without the crown wheel bolts. They are ordered separately; write to us if you need them.
- It fits 02M gearboxes. It does not fit the 02Q gearbox (Golf 5), for which there is, with front-wheel drive, the Quaife QDF16R.
- The BlackLine Torsen differential is also available for the same front-wheel drive 02M gearbox.
- Quaife offers a limited lifetime warranty, activated by registering the differential on the Quaife website.
