The RRS Jet is an open face helmet with a moulded thermoplastic shell, ECE 22.06 approved, in gloss black. It is made for track days and leisure karting, where the rules do not ask for an FIA helmet.

Who it suits
- Track days and leisure karting, where the organiser asks for an approved helmet but not an FIA one
- It is not accepted where the rules require an FIA 8859 or 8860 helmet: for competition see FIA approved helmets
What ECE 22.06 means
- It is the European regulation for protective helmets used on the road, and it replaced ECE 22.05
- Impact absorption and shell deformation are measured across several impact types and speeds, and the shell is also tested for abrasion
- Visors and accessories have to withstand impact without deforming, breaking or coming off the helmet
