  • FIA Technical List no. 29 lists the Simpson M6 quick release anchor (also branded HANS and Stilo) as an FIA 8858-2010 helmet anchorage
  • Simpson: FIA 8858-2010 accepts anchors without a nut washer, fitted to a helmet with a built-in M6 terminal; the nut washer version is SFI only
  • In karting, the 2026 CIK-FIA technical rules (Art. 7.1) do not allow M6 anchorages
