Sparco Prime F3 6-Point FIA Harness
The Sparco Prime F3 is a 6-point harness, approved to FIA 8853-2016. It is made for single seaters: the aluminium adjusters are on the shoulder straps only, and it mounts with bolted triangle fittings.

- The 2 inch shoulder straps, narrower than 70 mm, are for use with an FHR such as HANS only: the 8853-2016 standard gives them their own label and restricts them to FHR use (Art. 6.4.1.1)
How long FIA 8853-2016 approval lasts
- The harness expires 5 years after the year of manufacture, and the date that counts is the one on the homologation label sewn to the strap (8853-2016 standard, Art. 8)
- Appendix J, Art. 253-6, requires FIA 8853-2016 harnesses in cars run under FIA regulations
