Where it is used
- The seat position is set by the holes you use, in two directions: forward-back and left-right.
- On the BMW E36 and E46, the holes let the seat sit centred on the steering wheel, which matters on these two models.

The photo shows a black frame made of two long rails and two cross members, with bolts at the joints. Ask for confirmation before you order.
