BC Racing DS Coilover Kit - Volkswagen Golf MK7 (13-19) FWD, 54.5 mm strut, incl. R and GTI, pillowball front top mounts
The BC Racing DS coilover kit, code H-24-DS-DA, fits the Volkswagen Golf MK7 (13-19) FWD.
The DS Series works firmer on slow body movements: at low piston speeds the damping force is higher, so the car rolls, dives and squats less in corners, under braking and under power.
At high piston speeds the force rises less, so the wheel follows the kerbs without sending the impact into the shell. BC aims it at technical circuits, where quick weight transfers decide how the car feels.
Kit type: DA
Front: aluminium top mounts with pillowball centres, camber adjustable where the car allows it. Rear: aluminium top mounts with rubber centres, or no top mounts.
The kit BC recommends for this car has a spring rate of front 6 / rear 6 kg/mm.
Construction and adjustment
- Monotube damper with a digressive piston and damping curve.
- Satin chrome finished damper body.
- Ride height adjustment independent of spring preload.
- 30 clicks of adjustment, with compression and rebound adjusted together.
- Custom spring rates or Swift springs on request, with valving matched to the springs you choose.
- Fully rebuildable.
