Reinzosil is a silicone sealing compound, anthracite and solvent-free. It is applied as a formed-in-place gasket on small gaps under pressure. The can holds 200 ml.

Where it is used

  • Formed-in-place gasket for wet assembly: sumps, covers and flanges with a small gap, under pressure.
  • Seals cylinder liners, cracks and construction joints, and makes up for warped parts.
  • Resists mineral oils and many synthetic oils, lubricants, petrol, diesel, hot and cold water, detergents, ozone and sea water.
  • It can also be applied to parts that are already fitted, once the joint has been cleaned and degreased.
  • Preparation: remove gasket residue, oil and grease with a solvent, let the surfaces dry, apply to one side and assemble straight away.
  • The seal layer is destroyed on disassembly. After cleaning the surfaces it is applied again.
  • May irritate the respiratory tract: ensure good ventilation.
