Where it is used
- For ferrous surfaces, in automotive maintenance and repair and in industry.
- As the rust converts, the liquid turns through dark blue to brown-black.
- Spray from 20 to 30 cm, 2 or 3 thin coats, wet on wet, without runs.
- The surface must be clean and dry, free of loose rust, oil, grease and dust. Bare sheet steel is coated with a wash primer first.
- The dried film can be painted over after about 16 hours with most industrial and repair paints. Sand it first for adhesion.
- Not for parts exposed to high temperatures, such as an exhaust.
