Steel Steering Lock Adapters for BMW E36 Stock Control Arms
These steel steering lock adapters fit the original front control arms of the BMW E36 and increase the steering angle to about 55 degrees. They are CNC-milled and zinc-coated, and the track gets 2 cm wider per side.

Required changes at installation
- During installation the tie rod and the tie rod end are shortened by 1 cm.
- The bodywork stays untouched.
Installation notes
- Depending on knuckle wear and casting differences, the bolt that fixes the adapter to the knuckle may need to be shortened so it does not touch the strut mount.
- The adapters are sized for Meyle ball joints. Other makers have other tolerances, so the end of the ball joint thread can protrude from the adapter and cannot be tightened safely; in that case a washer goes under the nut.
